Mullen Motors is happy to announce that that it has donated four new CPR training units to the Southold Fire Department. “The Southold Fire Department means so much to this community” said Bill Mullen, “We’re just happy to be able to give something back.”
The donation, given in conjunction with the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association (GNYADA), of which Mullen Motors Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep is a member, should go far in helping the Southold Fire Department’s training efforts. The four “Resusci Anne” units with enable the Department – which also serves as a regional CPR training center – to teach upward of 60 trainees at one time. The training equipment donated by Mullen is truly state-of-the-art and, though critical to the successful training of Emergency Responders and other individuals, is also very expensive. Donations like this one help defray this cost, keeps training programs financially viable, and makes them more effective.
“We saw the opportunity to help out, “said Rich Mullen, “And in doing something like this, we really do in our own small way get to make a positive impact on everyone who lives and works on the North Fork. It’s very satisfying.”
